Invitation to assist in the production of the Wisconsin Outdoor Education Expo 2009!
Planning for the Wisconsin Outdoor Education Expo 2009 has already begun. The Expo 2009 will introduce children to the outdoors and strengthen their relationships with wild life and habitats. The Expo 2009 will communicate the relevance of wildlife and habitat management in our lives. The Expo 2009 will teach outdoors skills, encourage ethical behavior and perpetuate Wisconsin’s hunting, fishing and conservation heritage. Please help make Expo 2009 a success by considering sharing your time and talents.
Wisconsin Outdoor Education Expo 2009 promises to provide a wide variety of programs so all participants, regardless of previous outdoor experience or existing expertise, have the opportunity to both explore new outdoor activities and recreational possibilities, as well as enhance their knowledge, proficiency, and ethical understanding of activities they currently enjoy. When assisting at the Expo, you will have an opportunity to share your outdoor appreciation and skills with school children.
It is our hope to recruit more people to assist at Expo 2009 so that those who are working will also have free time to enjoy the many Expo 2009 activities themselves. During Expo 2009 there will be a Volunteer Appreciation Tent, full of food and beverages. If you work for two full days helping at one or more of the activity areas, live more than fifty miles from the Dodge County Fairgrounds and are not affiliated with an organization or agency that covers your expenses, you may apply to receive compensation for travel costs.
Please complete the
volunteer form (click) and return it before March 1, 2009, to help us in our planning with this one of-a-kind event.
